A long-established Australian floor coverings business is seeking a full-time Flooring Installer for commercial projects delivered with Tier 1 and Tier 2 builders throughout Perth and Western Australia.
The role values craft and composure. You focus on the coverings in which you specialise, prepare a clear plan, get the work right the first time and leave a refined, professional finish, reporting to the Site Supervisor and working in close step with the builder's site team and fellow trades.
Here, success looks like quality installations completed safely, on programme and with minimal defects. Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified overseas installers.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver your specialist installations, whether resilient finishes such as sheet vinyl and LVT with welding and coving, or carpet and carpet tiles
- Bring subfloors to the right condition with grinding, patching, priming and levelling
- Assess moisture and flatness before each installation and document the findings
- Translate drawings and finishes schedules into precise set-out and measurements
- Work in concert with the builder's site team and fellow trades to protect the programme, while inspecting, storing and safeguarding materials and limiting waste
- Maintain thorough records (timesheets, daily reports, photos and quality checklists) and observe inductions, site safety rules and safe work method statements
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial floor installation experience spanning at least 3 years, in Australia or internationally
- Proficiency across at least one discipline: subfloor preparation, carpet laying or vinyl laying
- A recognised floor covering trade qualification (a Certificate III in Flooring Technology, for example) or comparable international credentials or experience, which is preferred rather than required
- A WA White Card, held now or secured before commencement, along with a driver's licence valid for Australia
- Meticulous attention to detail, dependability and articulate English communication on site
