Whether you drive heavy combinations in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh today, this could be a considered next move. A large Australian grower and packer of carrots, onions and potatoes is appointing several MC truck drivers on a permanent full-time basis to carry produce between its South Australian farms and packing facilities, serving major supermarket chains, independent retailers and export markets.
The role reports to the Transport Manager within a capable transport team. It is based at a regional South Australian site, so living in that area is expected, and the 7-day roster brings varied start times.
The employer is an approved sponsor and is willing to consider suitably qualified candidates who require a visa.

Key Responsibilities
- Transport produce and take responsibility for operating and maintaining the truck, including keeping it clean
- Complete detailed truck inspections before and after journeys, reporting any concern
- Inspect loads before each departure so restraint and straps meet National Heavy Vehicle Standards
- Complete every required check and report, and maintain accurate records of produce carried, delivered and returned
- Keep logs in line with company procedures and adhere to all safety guidelines and health and safety policies
Requirements & Eligibility
- A current unrestricted MC licence (essential)
- A High Risk Work Licence (essential)
- Two years of previous truck driving experience
- Experience with, and confident control of, a manual road ranger transmission
- A strong work ethic and willingness to be hands-on across a wide range of tasks
- Flexibility for a 7-day roster with differing start times
- Attention to detail, with paperwork completed accurately
- An understanding of heavy vehicle laws and regulations, including load restraint, and of basic mechanics and maintenance
- Experience with fresh produce haulage, or tautliners and tippers, is highly regarded
