You would take ownership of the fleet: trucks, motorbikes, vehicles and station machinery, along with parts control and the training of station staff in daily checks.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs across vehicles and machinery
- Handle faults and callouts promptly as they arise
- Operate machinery and tools to a safe standard
- Supervise and train station staff in daily checks and services
- Document parts usage for reordering and keep commonly required parts in stock
Requirements & Eligibility
- Trade qualification in Diesel / Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, with at least 2 years' experience
- Mechanic experience in a comparable role and an authentic passion for station life
- Safe command of diagnostic and test equipment across the fleet, with efficient, safe handling of tools and equipment
- C Class driver's licence (essential)
- Motorcycle licence, HR or MC licence would be an advantage
- At ease working independently and within a team in a remote location
- Inventive in developing solutions when parts or tools are not readily available
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, good communication and a positive attitude would be an advantage
- Fit to work in high temperatures and high humidity
