A New Zealand-owned producer of premium fresh juices and smoothies, serving both domestic and international markets, is seeking a Technical & QC / Production Support professional on a full-time basis, at $30 to $35 per hour.
This is a role for someone who prefers the production floor to the boardroom. You will collaborate with the production, technical, health and safety and management teams, guide colleagues through practical coaching, and resolve problems calmly so that every product leaving the site is safe, legal and of consistently high quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Offer hands-on technical and quality guidance to Production.
- Oversee production processes, helping to detect and resolve quality concerns.
- Uphold food safety, HACCP and quality requirements.
- Ensure products satisfy customer, regulatory and internal quality specifications.
- Undertake inspections, checks and investigations, followed by appropriate follow-up actions.
- Support H&S initiatives and foster safe working practices across production.
- Provide practical training and coaching for employees.
- Assist investigations into incidents, complaints, non-conformances and quality issues to establish the root cause and measures preventing recurrence, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed and effective.
- Maintain precise technical, quality, compliance and training records.
Requirements & Eligibility
- Experience within food manufacturing, quality, technical or compliance
- Equally effective in a team situation or independently, and confident working directly with production employees
- Practical and approachable, with a willingness to be involved on the factory floor
- Strong in food safety and quality, and knowledgeable about HACCP and manufacturing requirements
- Comfortable with H&S responsibilities and risk management
- A confident trainer and communicator
- Able to investigate problems, reach the root cause and arrive at practical solutions
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, confident with documentation, reporting and audit requirements
