Chef de Partie

Hospitality · Melbourne, VIC, Australia · Full-Time · $33 - $44/hr · Visa: Employer sponsored
Whether you cook in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, a Chef de Partie position in Melbourne could be a considered next move for a chef who loves Italian food. An established Italian restaurant group, still expanding, is seeking a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie for the kitchen of its original pasta bar.
The role calls for quiet confidence: you would oversee the pans (pasta) or larder section on your own and bring a genuine understanding of Italian cuisine and culture. Pasta is crafted fresh in-house each day in a brand new kitchen, drawing on artisan Italian producers and local farmers.
Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. Engagement begins on a casual basis, up to 40 hours a week on a regular roster, with full-time contracts assessed after a trial period of at least four weeks. Pay is guided by skill, palate, teamwork, experience and work ethic.
