Whether you lead shifts in a Dubai hotel bar or a busy venue in Doha, this is a considered next move: a full-time Duty Manager role at a well-established pub in Sydney. The venue is community-driven, with loyal regulars and steady trade across bar, gaming, sport, events and guest rooms, and it sits within a larger hotel group known for strong governance and clear standards.
The role asks you to own your shifts and contribute to front- and back-of-house operations alike. It is well suited to an experienced Duty Manager, or to a senior supervisor ready to step into broader leadership, and the group's focus on developing leaders brings potential to progress. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the floor on each shift across bar, gaming, functions and guest rooms
- Oversee opening and closing routines
- Manage cash handling and prepare shift reports
- Support the delivery of functions and events
- Assist with ordering and stock control, and coordinate suppliers
- Contribute to rosters and labour efficiency
- Support compliance with RSA, RCG, gaming, WHS and food safety obligations
- Assist with local marketing and in-venue promotions
- Coach and develop the team to maintain service standards and an excellent guest experience
Requirements & Eligibility
- At least 1 year spent as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor
- Experience in gaming, including TAB and KENO
- RSA, RCG and ARCG, each one current
- A strong leadership presence paired with strong communication skills
- A calm, organised and solutions-focused manner, at ease balancing service, people and compliance
- Back-of-house experience is highly regarded; experience with functions, guest rooms, inventory, rostering, compliance reporting and local marketing is viewed favourably
