Whether you practise in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh, a move into Australian hospital pharmacy could be a considered next step. Clinical Pharmacist roles are open in Northern Territory hospitals, with Darwin as the listed base, on permanent and short-term terms.
The position centres on ward-based practice: reviewing and reconciling each patient's medication, counselling patients, answering medicines queries and keeping medicine use safe, all in close partnership with doctors, nurses and allied health clinicians.
Visa sponsorship is available to eligible applicants for the permanent roles. Every applicant is expected to hold AHPRA registration or be eligible for it, and registration is not arranged through the position.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead ward-based clinical pharmacy practice in a hospital environment
- Undertake reviews of each patient's medication and reconcile medication lists
- Counsel patients and answer medicines queries
- Uphold safe, effective use of medicines in collaboration with doctors, nurses and allied health clinicians, and contribute to medication safety and quality improvement projects
Requirements & Eligibility
- Background in hospital or clinical pharmacy
- AHPRA registration held currently, or eligibility to obtain it
- An Australian or New Zealand pharmacy internship, whether completed, in progress or nearly complete
- Pharmacists from overseas with relevant experience are also encouraged
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
