Whether you nurse in Dubai, Doha or Riyadh today, this could be a considered next move. A community-owned, not-for-profit aged care organisation with 40 years of history is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for its clinical team in regional New South Wales, near Wagga Wagga.

The position carries genuine responsibility: clinical leadership across your shift, reporting to the Deputy Director of Nursing, and a calm hand guiding the care team so residents keep their dignity and independence. Aged care background is highly regarded; nurses from other clinical disciplines are equally encouraged.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shape and oversee bespoke nursing care for every resident, honouring personal wishes
  • Lead assessment and care-plan writing, reviewing progress and attending to wound care, observation and timely escalation when health shifts
  • Take charge of medicine rounds, Schedule 8 included, within the law and house procedure
  • Guide, mentor and assign work to Enrolled Nurses and the care team
  • Keep meticulous nursing records, give input to AN-ACC assessments and play a role in incidents, infection control and quality work
  • Serve as a trusted contact for residents, relatives, doctors and allied health colleagues while upholding the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and nursing obligations

Requirements & Eligibility

  • A Bachelor of Nursing, or a qualification recognised as equivalent
  • Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA, held currently
  • Assured skills in clinical assessment, medicines management and care plan design
  • Polished communication, collaboration and leadership
  • Self-reliance on shift, sound clinical prioritising and composure as residents' needs evolve
  • Fluency in aged care clinical governance, quality and safety, alongside commitment to residents' dignity, choice and independence
  • Capacity to clear the aged care worker screening requirements that apply
