The position reports to the Venue Manager and calls for refined, progressive thinking across a spread of cuisines. Experience with volume service and functions is seen as an advantage. Sponsorship is available for the successful applicant.

Key Responsibilities
- Shape and develop menus
- Maintain production quality and food standards
- Oversee food and labour costings and labour management
- Work to executive management standards and agreed KPIs
- Contribute to staff recruitment, induction and training
- Communicate with the management team and kitchen staff
- Ensure hygiene, cleanliness and safety
- Guide each culinary team
Requirements & Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar high-volume venue
- Cert III or Cert IV in Cookery
- A high degree of professionalism
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, emphasising food quality and presentation
- Sound financial capability in kitchen cost management
- Outstanding written and verbal communication
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a multi-faceted kitchen
- A hands-on leader able to coach and motivate the team
- An energetic, enthusiastic approach with proven problem-solving capability
- Ability to build and contribute to a team environment across the whole venue
