A golf club set in a popular tourist town in north-east Victoria is seeking a qualified and highly motivated Chef for its kitchen. The setting suits a considered career step: the region attracts visitors for snow and water skiing, boating, fishing and hiking, and the town offers comfortable regional living.
Reporting to the Head Chef, you would support the sous chef and kitchenhands as trade continues to grow, within a professional team that values career development. The role is Full-Time, with a salary of $75,000 - $80,000 per year and an immediate start.
The role is open to candidates already in Australia who hold valid work rights. For exceptional applicants, sponsorship may be available after a successful trial period.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with care
- Maintain dish quality through preparation and presentation alike
- Mentor and supervise newly appointed and less experienced staff
- Oversee the cooks, delegating tasks and assisting where required
- Meet hygiene regulations and manage food stock and orders
Requirements & Eligibility
- Commercial cookery qualifications at Cert 3 or higher, supported by relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years in a commercial kitchen environment
- Flexible availability
- Communicates well with others
- Equally capable working unsupervised and as part of a team
- Understanding of OH&S and food hygiene requirements
- Valid work rights in Australia, with availability across weekdays and weekends for a 7-day operation
